Welcome to our Grandparents' home!
Casa da Alvarinha was built in the late 60's, as a farm house, which quickly became our grandparents' home. The heat from the animals in the stables warmed the floor above, where the woodstove played an important role on the coldest days of winter.
Nowadays, the stables became the living room and kitchen, and the bedrooms remain on the top floor.

First floor
The house consists of 5 bedrooms on the first floor, with a secluded living room where you can work or read a book. It extends along a corridor full of windows to our Garden, and at the end you will find the old kitchen of the house.
Goundfloor
On the ground floor you will find our living room with a fireplace, foosball table, gaming table and guitar, which connects with the dining room and fully equipped kitchen.
With a rustic and charming decoration, this floor has two support WC's. From the dining room, you will have access to the patio outside.
Outside
Leaving the dining room, you will enter the outside patio covered by plants, which blossom in the spring.
With a dining table and barbecue, it is the perfect space to enjoy sunny days. On cooler evenings, you can light our outdoor fireplace.
Pool
Our pool was once an water tank, filled by cold mine water.
Now transformed, it is surrounded by a 500m2 lawn with sunbeds and a volleyball net.
At Casa da Alvarinha you can connect with nature, wake up to the sound of birds and breathe the fresh air within our gardens.
Renovated in 2021, the house has become more sustainable and our decisions were focused on respecting the environment that surrounds us.
